Blackmans Bay Who's Who
Public Profile

In my "previous" life I studied Fine Art (Sculpture) and circuitously became an international performer for 20 years, residing mostly in the UK/EU as well as New York and San Francisco. I'm now happily living a much quieter life with my husband and daughter here in Sandringham.
I have only recently moved to Bayside from the UK and am very much enjoying the seaside life.
This year I have been adventuring into Cold Water Swimming (actually it's not that cold yet, but I'm practising!) as I am very interested in the benefits of cold exposure and just love the beach in the early mornings.
I am a long-time meditator in the Mindfulness/ Buddhist tradition, an avid reader and researcher and besotted art-lover.
Kalki Henenberg Hypnotherapy
I work with people with sub-clinical issues, including anxiety, shyness, low confidence, exam-stress, chronic pain, IBS, menopause symptoms, low mood, habits and addictions and much more.
My approach is tailored to individuals, understanding that every person is unique. I draw mostly from my CBH and Art Therapy training, a wealth of life experience, as well as continued professional development in psychology and TEAM CBT. It is important to me to keep up to date with the current research in psychology and neuroscience. Similarly, I am committed to continued professional development and study in hypnosis and hypnotherapy.

Distinguished and Famous people from Blackmans Bay
Blackmans Bay's documented connections include residents honoured for youth and community service. Their national honours record contributions through Scouting, Guiding and Sailability.
🤝 Rodney and Susan Viney
Rodney John Viney and Susan Mary Viney were listed as Blackmans Bay residents when each received the Medal of the Order of Australia in 2011. Rodney's award recognised work with Scouting and Sailability Tasmania; Susan's recognised service through Guiding and the community. Their honours identify different contributions to youth and participation. The local connection is recorded residence at the time of recognition, with their service extending beyond the suburb.
🤝 John Cornish
John Cornish served as an assistant Scout leader at Blackmans Bay from 1964 to 1966, early in a much longer involvement with Scouting. His later responsibilities included chief commissioner of the Tasmanian branch from 1998 to 2004 and national committee work. He received the Medal of the Order of Australia in 2022 for service to youth through Scouts. Blackmans Bay belongs to the beginning of that service record, rather than being presented as his later residence.
